 JYOTHIDARSANA INSTITUTE OF COUNSELING AND MENTAL HEALTH was started by
Carmel Province Muvattupuzha of
the Carmelites of Mary
Immaculate (CMI) Congregation,
founded by Blessed Kuriakose
Elias Chavara, a great visionary
and social reformer of India.
The counseling center was
inaugurated on November 28, 1993
at Thodupuzha, Kerala, India
with the purpose of the integral
growth of individual, family and
children. Jyothidarsana also
provides training programs in
Counseling and Psychotherapy
with the aim of training mental
health professionals for the
people of Kerala. |
