Counseling Center Construction Progress

The construction of the counseling center building is progressing well. Two floors of the building is nearing completion .We hope move to the new campus as soon as it is completed.

Alcohol & Drug Awareness program

An Alcohol & drug awareness program was conducted on December14, 2009. There was a seminar, poster demonstration, Public rally and public Meeting. More than 200 vehicles and 500 people participated in the program.

New Staff

Due to the increase in the number of clients, Mr. Antony V T, a clinical psychologist joined in the staff. He is helping in the area of school schooling.

A. A meeting

Regular A. A. meetings are conducted on Sundays at 4:30 PM. Experts in the field come to give lectures on the problem of alcoholism and recovery. People who are recovering are invited to give their testimony and their experiences of struggle to keep their sobriety.

Christmas celebration

Christmas & New Year was celebrated with full local support. There was a 3 hour cultural program with Carol singing, Dance and variety entertainments. Religious leaders from different denominations gave Christmas messages. Rev. Fr. Tomy  Nampiaparambil, Provincial of Carmel Province, was the chief gust. The programs concluded with Christmas cake and tea. The entire financial expense was met by local people. More than six hundred people participated in the grand finale.  The celebrations came to an end with grand fireworks
